2 Broke Girls - Episode 2

Just finished up episode two and I have to say I missed Max! All her sassy comebacks and insults are so funny....I wish that I could be so quick on my feet! I usually come up with something witty to say 3 days AFTER the conversation that requires said witty-ness to appear.

In the second episode we discover that CAROLINE (who is not CAROLYN)....is really pumped about the cupcake business. She even takes it upon herself to right Max's name on the board in the diner, much to Max's dismay.........and crosses a few too many boundries on the roommate side of things.

We also get a little taste of Max's softer side, when she reveals her insecurity in herself to be successful and apologizes for some harsh words tossed her new BFF's way during their first catfight.

Oh. And the gals have their first catfight. 

The highlight however........is the rich blonde hot chick, covered in BROOKLYN.

2 Broke Girls - Episode One

2 Broke Girls is a new show on CBS this fall and the pilot aired on September 19th. I finally sat down and watched it today and honestly laughed my ass off. It's funny. It's crude. It's outrageous. A couple of lines actually made me GASP!

Particularly the one where the waitress who gets fired is spending her break GETTING IT ON in the back and when one of her customers asks Max where she is, you hear pleasure noises coming from the back and Max turns to the customer and says "She's coming..."

It doesn't get any cruder than that ;) OK, maybe it does but not on the shows I watch! LOL!

So far I find this show to be unique and most likely it will be a chick flick. But I don't think it's one the men will groan over having to watch either, what with all the eye candy for them to enjoy and the bluntness of the lead actress.

Both ladies in the leading roles are unkown to me, but they both played their parts excellently. 

Max -- the typical "BRONX" girl who is working hard for her money, dating scumbags who have ab muscles that make smart girls dumb and is nobody's friend.

Caroline -- the poor rich girl who's lost everything and lies on her resume to land her first waitressing gig, dresses to the nines and is quick on her feet.

Together, they seem to run the diner, are new roommates and in an unexpected twist at the end of the pilot....are working towards riches in cupcakes!
